Day 1 - New Delhi

Visit to Mount Carmel School.

Tour around the city in a rickshaw.

India Gate.

Day 2 - New Delhi

Visit to another branch of Mount Carmel School.

Visit to the slums (hosted by the school).

Back to the school for lunch.

CIP with the kids from the slums (that attend the school). The kids were singing Christian songs as this is a mission school.

Day 3 - Agra

Taj Mahal.

Posh 5-star hotel! (Too bad we only stayed for one night :C)

Day 4 - Agra - Jaipur

Fatehpur Skiri - a palace made of red sandstone

And then we went to Jaipur...

At Jaipur, we went to a shop selling saris and other textiles. The photo below is about carpet weaving. A carpet like this takes a few months to complete.

Dinner at cultural village Choki Dani. Apologies for the dark photos.

Day 5 - Jaipur - New Delhi

Hawa Mahal. (We didn't go inside though.)

Amber Fort. We had an elephant ride up there...and took a jeep down.

Thereafter we departed for Delhi again.

Day 6 - New Delhi - Chennai

We did not do much this day - we just prepared for our CIP in Chennai in the morning and departed for Chennai in the afternoon via a domestic flight.

Day 7 - Chennai

Visit to Vidya Mandir School.

St Thomas Bascilica, the place where the body of Apostle Thomas was kept.

The church.

Marina Beach (aka the Bay of Bengal).

Day 8 - Chennai

Dakshina Chitra, a place which displays the culture and traditions of South India.

Afterwards we had CIP at the School for the Deaf. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take photos.
